Alamo Region Democratic Candidates for United States Congress
The House of Representatives has 435 voting members, with six non-voting members representing Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the District of Columbia. The members of the House of Representatives serve two-year terms representing the people of a single constituency, known as a "district". Congressional Districts are apportioned to states by population using the United States Census results. To be eligible for election, a candidate must be aged at least 25, have been a citizen of the United States for seven years, and be an inhabitant of the state which they represent. Wikipedia
